Coyote "captured" by "camera trap" on NC Zoo Society's 270 acres across Old Cox Road from NC Zoo, Randolph County, NC.
Of the coyotes, NC Zoo Curator of Reptiles and Amphibians John Groves writes: "I suspect they will come and go on this property and the zoo property. This photo was taken [by an Elon University research student] with a camera trap that we are testing. I plan to get a few for the zoo site once we determine which type to use in our own surveys."
Wish we coulda caught the folk who dumped all those tires the same way!
